I just got a new Kenwood HU for my C, ive connected all the wiring up but it wont turn on. When i press the on button it makes a noise but it doesn't turn on. Someone help me please

When you say you have connected all the wires up did that involve any cutting?

no i didnt cut anything, i bought the harness from auto leads

on the harness you bought was there 2 spare cables hanging off it?

orange and a red i think?

No there was nothing hanging from it, ive emailed the people that i bought it from and they are going to replace it tomorrow

could be a faulty lead, you got a multi-meter?

Swap your red and yellow if it still doesnt work try your fuse, i was fitting a kenwood the other day and popped the 5amp fuse in the cars fusebox.

Cheers i just got back from the shop and they tested the headunit and they said that it is fine. They also said to check the fuses so im going to do that later.
