Vectra Horn Into the C

i can get a really deep sounding horn from a vectra elite/signum for £14

how does the corsa c one work? does it have a plug on it or it is directly wired into the car?

anyone got any idea what i would need to put the new one in?

on mine the horn is behind my washer bottle according to the scematics from vauxhall....


not every corsa has it there though, when i get time i will take mine out and see whats what

i changed my horn to a deeper sounding one its just a plug so i jus cut the wires and soldered them onto the new horn

Should be a push in plastic lug connection, my horn is behind the passenger fog light ish

Yes, the Corsa horn is crap... The Vectra one though is a high and a low tone horn (ie: two horns), so how you'd go about splitting the wiring without dropping the power to the horns I'm not sure. Of course, it can be done, and although I know a fair bit about cars and have done many auto electrical jobs myself, I don't know the answer to that one.

Any auto elec types want to share the answer? ;)
