Just fitted these today and i think they look awesome. !!! Just ordered some led sidelights so it doesnt look as pants.
Sorry for bad pics on the phone ill get better ones if required. But you get the idea.

I'd have replaced the candle-light headlamp bulbs first but what the feck is in those fogs?! :o . :look:

fogs look sweet! what are they? 8)
they are basicly a long row of ultra bright leds cast into a resin strip. so i can flex it arround the front bumper.

dunno where id stick em or how id control them. the fogs in the corsa are attatched behind the bumper :(

Az has an idea, but Az needs to see your thingies without the lights on :P
well then az can come to a reading/ruislip meet and see for himself.
corsa lower grill is a bit off shaped for this. but the original idea with the headlights would work. i think.
I de activated the front fogs and wired these to them.
To make em id have to get a;
lower grill
60 LEDs
loom
temp sensor.
after this it end up costing about £80.

the new audi's have the led lights like that on their headlights!!
look sweet! i have a strip of them in my room 30cm! didnt think about wiring them up in my car tho!! good idea!
They use them as sidelights don't they, the audi's? How do they class them as sidelights and make them legal?
You cant have any lights on the front as long as they are white :) is what road trafic act says.
i have minimum height from ground as its by the fogs. They come under the catogry driving lamps they are remotely switchable :)

dont have any fogs anymore hense the point i replaced them with led strips. They arnt dazzling bright and look awesome.

yeah if there like the audi "running lights" then kool but ppl with fog lihts on all the time do my head in there are some many round here and when your going down a tight twistin round an they come up you get totally blinded on a regular basis
any other plans for the leon other than lights?
would like some wheels but not too fussed. if someone wants to sponsor me for £3000 then id get some AMG mercedes ones and some koni coilovers.

Damn they look bright! A good look; how long did it take to fit?
a little bit. but not too long. didnt have to drop the bumper just need to see about fixing them in more perminently

You aren't going to fitt that massive LPG and Nitrous tank in the boot if you keep filling it with wires and speakers ;) :lol:

you could dual wire with a seperate switch and relay but i decided to remove fogs and plug the wire direct into the leds. :) front fogs are ****.
Front leds are cool.
Remember a single led can be seen for up to 1 mile away.

thanks for the reply but i mean do they work as good as the fogs do,
the issue im having mate is that ive got a new front bumper. now no fogs exist for this bumper so i have the task of custom making some. now i was gona get some from an airdam and try and mount them but if these leds r better i could just get some of them and have a cross-hatch grill behind ???
this is what i mean - instead of trying to make some fogs for a diff bumper fit i buy some of those leds as the clarity/visibility is the same?
also im looking to get blue HID lights for the mains as my sidelights are already slightly blue. are these leds a zenon type blue if that makes sense (they'll go well with HIDs?)
um What good are front fogs anyway. I never have found them useful whatsoever. it was more about being seen then seeing. if you have HIDs you will not need fogs lol. But as far as being seen Leds are better.

They are called daytime running lights, and they are legal!

I like Leds but i dont like undercar etc. so shazam i made these and once i get a cupra front bumper i can slot em in behinde the crosshatch bit :) and they are hidden.

Looking good James! Led's in that bumper really suit it well :)
looks good planning on getting new bumpers? or sticking with them
i dunno i think im gonna get the bumpers smoothed noones done it before.
