it doesn't matter what the peak power is on a sub ur looking for rms on the sub summat around 240rms will give a hell of a kick. i have two 240rms subs with a 1000w amp and it kicks serious bass. the peak power of them are 1200w each

i would go for a vibe active enclosure, they already have the correct amp attached to them, so you cant go far wrong

I was thinking about getting an active Fli sub, I know Vibe are good quality and these are just cheap versions. I've never actually heard them but im sure they are alright. To be honest you usually get what you pay for.
I'm getting a Vibe Black Air CBR12 now instead because someone offered me one cheap.

But for £50 you cant really complain lol.

Good luck with your decision =]

i had 1 it was fine, but i ran it off a RF 1501BD and blew it in the end as i gave it about 700RMS watts

thanks for the feedback people, May as well get it for £50, Seen some on ebay saying their built in amp has broke and have added a new amp, how easy is it to add a new amp if it breaks for some reason?

I had one, they great, cant beat them for the price and the tidyness factor, if you set it up right with your head unit they're very punchy.

For £50, not too bad.

But they arent good by any stretch of the imagination.

If you want some thing that is 'loud' and will make 'noise' then for £50 it isnt too bad

I rate the Fli subs :doublethumbs: I've got 2 x 10" (pink) active subs and a 800 watt amp running the 6x9's. My subs sound really good considering there running off a standard head unit.

You won't find much 2nd hand kit in good nic for £50. TBH i'd never spend so little on an upgrade of this sorts, but that's just me. You won't find much better for £50.
