Ive removed my standard 2005 stereo from my corsa SXi. Ive put in the head unit ive bought, it works perfectly except.. sometimes wen am listenin to music, i set the bass, treb, an everything else...
Wen i stop listenin 2 music and take the pop off, off.. and then put it bck on later on in the .. it all goes back to 00... the bass and everything.. so then ave gotta do it all again for it to sound good.
Why is this?
Thanks
the permenent live and the accessory live that works off the ignition switch need swapping round. I had the same problem. the wiring harness for my kenwood stereo had the facility to do this, but you could cut the wires and swap them

Headunit loosing memory?
Swap yellow and red cables round on the ISO block. This is to stop your new headunit 're-setting' when car is turned off.
and next time search!

most aftermarket steroes have bullet connectors on the red and yellow wires so they can be switched easliy. if not change the pins round on your ISO block.
