Evening guys (and gals), my first thread on this forum though a joined a bit ago and i've been using this as an awesome resource to fund my desire to spoil my car!

Basically, i've got the standard headunit for a 1.2 Corsa C Sxi, (yes i've read the tutorial on how to remove it and put in a sexy new alpine headunit).

I just need a bit more info on how to go about it and what sort of costs we're talking!

Best headunit to get? (Literally want it to look good, play ipod, play cd's, have radio. Not much to ask!)
Price of headunit mentioned above?
Use of ipod adaptor, cost?
Any extra costs? Tips/Resources?Cheers,

Chris

Hey mate, I have got a JVC KD-AVX2 in my corsa, it's a dvd player with in built 3.5" lcd screen. It has loads of different features and plays back various different file types, I currently got a wireless reverse camera plugged in to it and the display is sweet, but looking at getting the ipod control cable for it as well which is about 70 quid, which would mean i could drive my ipod from my HU. You can pick these units up for about 250 quid brand new these days if you are looking for something like that. I have included the site for u. There are newer models around which have bluetooth as well so u can sync ur phone straight to em, and those i have seen for about 370 with ipod adaptor. i have also put the link in for u on that.

Thanks for the replies guys, and the moving Dan (Y) didn't think about it :P.

I'm not looking for a DVD player of anything fancy but thanks abbyjnr gave me something to check out while bored !

I looked up your pioneer DEH-P6900IB, good price, quality and looks good!

It says direct Ipod connection lead included, does this mean the ipod comes out the front, so i could get a holder and stick it on the dash?

Or can i wire it through the back of the HU, so the ipod sits tucked away in the glove compartment. As i don't need it showing, due to controlling the songs through the Headunit itself?

Cheers!

Oh and Dan, about £100-200 is good price range i'm thinking. But obviously cheaper the better :)
