mate its a pain in the a**. do what i did and what several other members have done;http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=94750&page=3

works fine and is far easier and quicker than any other method and the wires are not noticeable.

hope this helps.

Cheers, But have allready got that thread saved, I hink im going to do it the way coops did it on Jacko's car! just poke wire thogh the bug rubber gromit inside the car, then take the plug out and will use my baby angle grinder to make a couple of cuts in it, then bend the metal back and cut it off and cable tie to the conduit!

Would be nice to have a new hole drilled though with a grommit in it, do you reckon i cud drill a hole with my massive dewalt mains drill without taking the doors off, as its at such an angle?

It does take a while to do it our way (read Coops' way) but it is a good way to do it.
Virtually impossible to drill with the door on btw.

yeah as jacko says, them doors are made of tough stuff and is pretty impossible as the angle is to tight.

How big is your install?

I used the standard wires and it was fine.

Comps were about 90wrms

Im going to do it the hay Coops and Jacko did it!

My install isnt that big, front speaker wise, im have SPL Dynamics SD-6.2 components powered by a small Alpine 2 channel amp, putting 50watts RMS into each!

Nice guide, Unfornatly, did it the other way about an hour ago lol, didnt see this till now, Its a right pain in the arse to saw the bloody stupid hole with a junior hacksaw, and its hard to refit that stupid plug aswell, still havnt done it lol, which means i cant lock my car, so lets nothing gets nicked from it, its on my driveway with 2 cars behind it tho, so it isnt going anywhere, sod the faceoff lol, took the whole head unit out!

Might have to sleep in it tonight with my rifle next to me

 Doing the hacksawing is made easier if you spit on the blade as theres less friction and it cuts better :)

As for the plug, yeah thats the most stupid annoying bit :banghead: keep at it though mate, it will clip into place eventually!
