30 or 40mm

Hi im thinkin of lowering my car but still want to keep it practical.

The roads around my area are atrocious, already flatspotted my 17s.

I know 40 looks better, but i wouldnt want it to drop it 40 then have it settle to 55 like scott blaneys did when his springs/ shocks settled.

Im only puting springs on it max budget 130

It is pretty low at the mo with front splitter, gettin sides and rear.

Also i sometimes carry a full car with 5 adults. Sittin on 17s 45offset

whats my best option. The guy at the bodyshop recons 30's not noticeable.

Is it worth lowering or not? help please

30mm is very noticable, I can see a difference with my eibachs on and they aint even settled in properly yet!

Dependant on what ya front spoilers like on it, I'm always well cautious of my Irmscher front grill and it’s not lowered, but then its proper countryside by me. I'd go for 30 especially if you've already picked up a flatspot.

My m8 thinks if i dopped it 40, some speed bumps would be a no go.

right see when you get the 30mm eibach springs see when they settle do they go alot lower than 30?

When you first put em on, they dont seem to drop 30 (but might), and when they settle, you'll find the drop is about 30-35mm in total.
