Depends how much you want to spend.
The PDX is a better quality, smaller, more efficient, lightweight amp.
A cheaper alternative would be the JBL 75.4 if you'd like a suitable amp for £100.
ok... the thing is im only gettin them to run my door speakers off and my 6x9's!! so i thought i dnt need really huigh qulaity ones... but the price differnce is 70 pound soo its making me think lol

What front speakers do you have?
To be honest if quality is not a big issue then the JBL will do you fine and you will still have £100 or more in your pocket compared to the Alpine amps.
If you are running all of your cabin speakers from the amp you will want a good quality one. The JBL 75.4 is well recommended for a budget amplifier. However your components are rated at 100 wrms and it is recommended that you overpower speakers rather than underpower. The only amp up to the task from the two you have is the more expensive Alpine PDX...
But just to throw a spanner in the works, its a Class D amp and (correct me if I'm wrong) therefore adds more distortion at higher frequencies than a class A/B amp. Alpine have claimed to fixed this on the PDX models but I'd still be wary.
I would personally go for http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto1004e-p-6240.html
Just my 2p! ;)

You are correct, however it is quite a subtle problem with complicated solutions. However the PDX range have been given pretty good write ups.

im still after a new amp
4 channels
to power 6X9's and a sub (6x9 = 190watt RMS, sub = 400watt RMS bridged to 4ohms)
any ideas for me lol

Take your 6x9s. Sell them. Then get a nice monoblock amp that puts out about 500wrms (FYI that's tall order at 4ohms)
Is there anyway to have the front speakers only do vocal sounds and have all the bass coming from the sub? my pioneer HU has a fader front rear etc but if i fade to the front its like turning off the sub..
Ideally you want the sound stage ahead of you. If your front speakers produce everything upwards of about 100Hz and leave the sub to play 100Hz and below, everything should sound like its coming from in front of you (in theory anyway) The reality is about 70-80Hz and below through the sub and everything else through the fronts.
FYI you need some kind of adjustable crossover to be able to do this. Usually found on your amps

has loads of fuctions to adjust the frequencies but ive tried all different settings and its like the speakers are trying to pump out bass so they just distort... :/ then again mabye because its the standard corsa speakers....il give things a go again once my comps arrive.

That's a good HU.
If you want to do clever things with ICE then read this site: http://www.bcae1.com/
It will tell you how to do anything or why things are impossible.

if it has a high pass filter (HPF) you can tell it to only play the higher frequanies by choosing a cut-off frequancy- therefore not playing bass
