duno whats wrong with them. sometimes the passenger light do not light, fitted them with a harness but i duno whats wrong, and one side seems to be higher up than the other when projected onto the wall, do they need alining?
When fitted fullstop HID's need aligning, if not u will blind the f**k out of neone on the road and they will be very pissed!! The fact that you have a harness seems weird to the fact that you are still having problems. Sit tight and I'm sure some1 can heko u further. As for aligning, £20 from vaux i beleive, a must be for all HID's.
The harness makes the power even so if one side was dull then it should make it brighter.
If theres problems with the bulb igniting then its either the ballast or the bulb.
Swap the ballasts over and see how you get on then if the other side is struggling to fire up then its the ballast at fault.

I never had mine alligned and I never had any problems, not one person has flashed me and had them in for a few months now.

My angel eyes i bought seems to have come spot on in alignment, so ive never got mine done, its passed mot. but i sometimes get flashed, probably from people who are jealous
or cause they are tooo blue ;)

They are just a good quality HID kit, 8000k, nothing illegal about them. it does make a difference buying quality stuff instead of ebay stuff, not my fault they are sexily blue

i still have problems with my drivers side bulb igniting even with the harness.. i dont suppose you have to "HID Cool" kit do you... i usually start the engine and wait 10 seconds or so before flicking the switch. only when i whack them on straight after turning on the engine do mine struggle.

I don't see the problem. If u have to wait 10 seconds or so b4 turning them on then its not the end of the world surely?? Prob just the current flow delay on getting to the drivers side bulb.

Where did u get the kit from and how much did u pay can i ask?
Sounds like your ballast is on its way out to me im afraid, i have gone through one set of cheap ebay HID's and this time went for some more expensive non e-bay jobbies and are much better- dount is anything to do with the harness as loads of people on here have them fitted without it including me!
No problems like that with mine, turn them on as soon as engine started or even before engine is on

mine was ebay - they arent great tbh - they are flickery when you go over bumps, i will be replacing them at some point and chucking the old ones. they were about 100 i think, but that was years ago when HID was the new big thing lol.
ive run with and without the harness with the same results so you are right in the fact that it has nothing to do with the problem in my case.
iv just removed my HID kit, iv always had problems with my drivers side light not coming on, but when you in the car you cant tell so when i pull up behind another car i can only see 1 on  so iv gone back to my original lights.
If you have used the harness, make sure both sides are grounded properly, it says with the instrucitons to only ground one side, but firmly ground both sides
