New Ecu

Found out my ecu is fooked so i need a new one, but i dont fancy paying vauxhall prices for it! If i get an ecu which has been used and it comes with the transponder for the key and also a spare key will that work? or would more programming be needed? Thanks for any help

Not sure, but to guarantee no reprogramming you'd need the BCM and the speedo dials from the donor car as well as the ecu, transponders and central locking fob. However your mileage would become the mileage of the donor car, might look dodgy on your MOTs in future if it's gone down.

if you got a second hand ecu it would have to be wiped clean while still fitted to the other car before you could try and fit it to your car. you would need your immobiliser code.
