mines dead dark/dull after puttin the blue leds in from aceparts, isit supposed to be like that or have i done something wrong, carnt see it atall join the day

sounds silly but one LED may not be in the right way round which is what i had. just turn it 180degres the other way and it should work. i used ace parts n havent had a problem with seein it durin the day

You will need to remove the thick yellow filter from behind the LCD and replace it with something white, or crazy leds sell a filter.
