MFD not lighting up?

ok, so my MFD works, i mean, when i shine light on it i can see all the digits, the time, date, and temp, but it aint lighting up, i've tried changing the bulbs but thats not working either. any1 else had this prob? it aint a fuse as the unit actualy works, but just not lighting up. i phoned VX and they gonna look at it on wed and am gonna try n claim it thru the warrenty if it needs a new mfd unit. :shrug:

yeh, everything else in the car is fine, just the mfd wont light up

o right i was thinking you might have knocked the switch were you can make it bright or dull sorry
