Infinity Kappa Installation ?

How will i go about installing my new infinity kappa front component speakers, as i really dont know much at all about speakers, they come with 2 tweeters and 2 woofers and crossovers, but i dont really know much about them either, i have them on order from CAS, and would like an idea of what i am doing before i start, I'm not amping them now as i am waiting to get enough money for a good amp.

Door card off

Remove old speaker and cut free from wires

screw speaker adaptor in place and find a place to mount the crossover

use a terminal block to lengthen original speaker wire to crossover input. disconnect old tweeter and tape wire out of the way.

then run wires from the "woofer" and "tweeter" outputs to the speakers in question.

Standard speaker wire will do if your not changing all your wiring over. As for mounting crossovers, I went for in the foam of the doorcard. If u measure up cut with stanley then dig at with screwdriver u can get a nice mount in there with a couple of strips of electrician tape to secure it. :thumbs:

The foam should make itself pretty apparent when u get the doorcard off, but ne probs follow the link above and you shud be sorted. My crossovers have been in that place for some time now withough ne probs. They sit quite snug, but not squashed up against the door so you shud have no probs at all.
