Ipod on a Pioneer

Hi Guys.

Ive got a Pioneer DEH-P8600 head unit with the IP Bus connecter already being used by the CD changer. Now im planning on buying an ipod adapter, but this also goes through the IP Bus. Is it ok to link one to the other? Or can I just use the one?

IIRC the IPOD has a thru connector, been a whils since i saw one though
