I just bought a new stereo system (amp sub and 6x9's) but it says i need to wire the amp to a remote input jack that is suposed to be on the back on my headunit.

My headunit does not have one of these so it says i can wire it to the acc position on my ignition.

Can any1 tell me how to do this because i am a complete novice at all of this ICE stuff.

Or is there a easier way to do it, cheers

just had close look at the diagram on headunit and says there is a orange wire and says:

"connect to power antenna or remote control for amplifier"

say i splice this wire on the iso harness and then connect it to my remote cable and then to my amp or is this wire gona be needed for any other component??

You can turn it off when listening to a cd with the AF button but when the radio is on it cant be turned off

that orange wire that says electric aerial and remote is for a) if you have an aerial which comes up out of the bodywork when you turn the ignition on or b) if you want to remote to an amp. just wire it to that mate and you'll be fine.
