Been changing a few LED's in my car recently, but I can't seem to get the cigarette lighter LED to work for some reason. I tried switching the LED around to see if it was just the wrong way around but no luck. I decide to then put the old LED back in and it still won't light up. I checked the connections to it and everything seems fine.

Anyone got any suggestions of what's the matter with it?

is that a led that you placed?
if it's a self made led with a resistor, the value of the resistor is too big
that's why it give off not much light
