just ask them if hid's increase premium, find out how much, then decide if its worth it...

does it really matter, it's not like someone can steal them without takin u're lights out.
And to do that u need to have the bonnet open and the bumper off. Two things u can't do with u're car locked up.
So personally i wouldn't bother, but if u want to go for it.
Better than being done for fraud i guess.
I can't see it being a higher premium. Tell the insurance that their factory fitted extra's and tell them their Xenons not HID's, might work out cheaper.

not really. get them alined properly make sure they pass mot , then surely you can pin the blame on the garage who passed you r car rather than yourself :)

also ive been told that if you add a backbox it voids the exhaust system claim, so surely adding hids only voids your lights and possibly electrics?

all you've done is changed a faulty bulb ;)

ive told mine.. best to declare everything.. we all know how sneaky insurance companies are - they will worm out of a claim if they find anything you havent declared.
