Hi All.

Basically. I have a 1996 1.2 corsa (First car :D), and it doesnt have a lighter/power socket. So I bought a tripple socket (heres a picture of what it looks like http://www.datakits.co.uk/store/images/large/car_tripple.jpg). I took off the male plug, and put a spade connector on the appropriate end. Its all fine up to this point, but now I need to connect it to the car essentially.

The fuse box doesnt have any spare fuse holes, so I guess I either need to fit one or possibly just connect it directly to the battery with an inline fuse.

The first option is really preferable. Ive tried taking the fuse box out to get a look at the back of it, but after removing the screws that appear to hold it in place, I cant get the thing out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Ben

you would be better off taking a feed from the battery save a lot of hassel as you would probably still need to wire the fuse board not sure if they pre wired on a corsa b

Yeah, is there a specific way that I should do it. Im a bit of a bodge man myself and would probably just use some croc clips :D

use a ring termenal for the live and earth and run a bit of twin core cable inside the car to the socket there will be a grommet in the bulkhead sumwhere run it through there. pretty easy job

Hmm, I'll give that a go a little later this week, just need to buy a few bits.

Thanks for your advice
