Hello guys im about to sort out some set prices for CCUK members for popular body/paint modifications like colour coding.

Can i ask those guys that have had work done to post up the Work/Price and where in the country you are.

I got mine done for £200 and it's spot on. But it's my cousins bodyshop so i got mates rates, i know normally it's around the £400 mark.
Thats in Lincolnshire!!

i can get the arches, sill's and the edges of the bumper's done for £300 by HCP. There will be no-grain effect after and no peely **** too...

Lol, i'd love to know what products there using as the adheision promoter you need is £20 alone then 2k primer £15, colour in waterbase £30 ,clear 2k high solids laquer, £20.

then you have got sanding discs/cleaner etc £10

total £95 in materials
thats before you even count the labour!!!!!

They must be cutting some very big corners there buddy...


Im thinking I could do the skirts and arches for £200 + postage/collection is free

basically everything thats in that horrible, orange peel stuff, but iv been told by people that they bodyshops usually just respray the whole bumper as its easier than just doing a section

also can you do powder coating? :P

When you bulk buy stuff, you normally get it cheap, and when his mate owns a paint shop he gets it even cheaper, i had a front and rear bumper sprayed by him for £130 and he does amazing job

When I went to Fuford I got quote £650 for:

Colour coding the arches and respraying the whole front bumper - £450
Respraying the bonnet - £150
Colour Coding base plates or mirrors - £50

= £650

Price of bonnet and baseplates based on the other work being done at the same time.

Buddy I am a bodyshop - just trying to sort out Real prices that I can stick too..

Also it is safer to paint the whole bumper as there is then no risk of the paint lifting.

i just bought the paint and lacker and used my uncles both cost me under 50quid for it all and my irmscher splitered got a new cout as well as the the dash parts from silver to purple!!

Rite Guys, I went to see Jamie today and had a look at some of his work (although ive allready Alvins car etc.)

I have to say his work is top notch, he's a good guy and it also makes a pleasant change to find someone so passionate about the work that they produce!!!!

Needless to say both my corsa and Audi will be making their way to Sharpe Concepts very soon!!!!
