ive installed a second amp and ran them both to a high volume while the engine wasnt running, the illumination light in my cd player was dimming really bad and so i turned it off thinking my battery would give out, then i tried to start the engine and it wouldnt, i know it was the dead battery cos it made the same noise as last time i flattened a battery by leaving the lights on lol!
basically it seems to be drawing way too much power what if anything can i do to help this?
people suggest bigger or better earths for the cars electrics does anyone know if those volt stab things do anything?
or maybe can u just buy a bigger battery but thats big bucks aint it?
any help appreciated :)

Dont crank the system when the engine is off.

If you want to do that, then you will need a split charge system with a deep cycle battey

Yes, as the alternator is charging the battery
