Vauxhall Tape player to CD player

I sold my CDR 2005 on ebay to a guy who said it had a tape player in his corsa. He is now telling me that the connectors that he has are not the same?

I assumed it would drop straigt in? Did facelifts actually come with tape players?

if it was a facelift then it would as cdr2005 is prefacelift and therefor not canbus wiring which faceleft are

yes but i wasn't aware that face lifts came with a tape player?

CDR2005 is a prefacelift stereo so will have non canbus connectors
Facelift stereos (cd30 is the new cdr2005) will run on canbus connectors.
IIRC there was one bottom of the range (expression? i think) that only had a tape player.

Did you state it would fit any corsa C? if you did then it's your fault. If he bought it hoping it would fit then tell him to do one :lol:

Just explain to him he got a bargain and that he should resell it and then buy what Mark said.

he has a y reg corsa so it should just clip in?

ttt - I am now recieving messages from him telling me it does not work. I know for a fact that it does???

Call him a fool? Have you tried explaining to him EXACTLY how it should fit, down to the last explicit detail?

lol yeah he has told me he has fitted it etc but the 2 button does not work whilst trying to type on the radio code?

Tell him he should have checked that it fitted before he bidded for it.. And say it worked when it left you so he must have done something wrong and broken it..
