Bought A Pack Off Ebay £26 Put Heater An MDF in Heater Ones Blew A Fuse MDF One Always Goes Out Tab Lighter Has Gone Out And Now Heating Ones Hav Gone Reeeal Dim.
Wheres The Best Place To Buy The Bulbs From? Some Ones That Are Actualy Gonna Last :)

I had to get the crazy LED heater strip as the blue LEDs always blew fuse one in my car aswell.

Aceparts uk (also ebay shop)

I tried crazyled's and they were ok, tried aceparts and was very impressed.

Aceparts dont fit in the heaters - why this is I have no idea :lol:

Get a crazy LED heater strip for £20 if your that bothered :thumbs:

i found a way around that :D (without mullering bits with a screwdriver aswell)

I just used a screwdriver just slightly bigger than the hole and turned and turned to take away a layer of the plastic and now they fit snug.

Sorry for thread hi-jack but does anyone know what bulbs fit in the heater, cig lighter and light controls? Im sure 501's fitted in the heater controls but cant remember?

i found a way around that :D (without mullering bits with a screwdriver aswell)

Apparently your meant to bend the metal pins back so there all the way out. What a load of hassle, they should be made to just fit lol

No not 501's

Yeah thats it, saves destroying plastic with blunt objects :D

Bending the pins dont make a difference.I tried it, but the problem is that the bulb is too thick to push through the hole.

I'd like to do a full xenon white conversion of my cockpit - I've already got white speedo dial leds in from dashlights.co.uk - but I'm a total noob with it all and have no idea what to do order and where from, let alone how to fit them. :(

The bulb size is 286. 501's defo do not fit :lol:

That was it 286, dunno how i thought of 501 lol. Is it the same size for all the bits i mentioned above - cig lighter, heater and the light controls? Ive already got some but theyve got a hint of green in them.

Yeah all 286 but the dial leds have a holder.
