View Full Version : Right making my custom build next week :)
Ive got 2 12" Subs and the amp!
Basically the design will be having the 2 subs at the top seprated by the width of the amp which will be lower down!
Will be slighty raised as its based on a false floor and will angled upwards :)
As its my first crack at doing it... anything that i should do or know?! it wont be sealed just the floor and some structual planks underneath?
What you's reckon?
sounds good, what subs and amps are you using?
Pioneer Celebrations 1200watts
And i havnt seen the amp since it was installed ages ago  Believe its 1500watt
do you want the sound for show or for when you in the car?

You mean the sub boxs wont be fully sealed ?
If thats what you mean then you need to seriously re-think your design. The boxs have to be sealed or they are going to sound poo

Not necessarily, you could use ported or bandpass design.
Right ill have to seal it then  :)
Ill get some sort of picture drawn up in a boring Lesson tomorrow and post the blueprint

I know that, it goes without saying.
But in this application its odvious he didnt mean it like that. And chances are the subs are designed to be sealed too.
Oh, and he could also have Infinite Baffle, Single Reflex Bandpass, Dual Reflex Bandpass, Series Tuned Dual Reflex Bandpass etc, etc... :P
