View Full Version : Steering Wheel Adapter To Work

Right guys prob heard this question many of times but here we go again :lol:

right this is what i heard i need a alpine patch lead to adapt to my alpine IVA-D310RB screen and to a autolead vaux control adaptor to make the steering wheel controls to work in other words the volume up and down and pressing the tracks up and down

Stereo > alpine patch lead > vaux control adapter > steering wheel controls

is this right guys and point me in the right direction to get the right ones to work as i need to buy them my car is 02 sxi if that helps for the adapter!!

Correct.
Connect your pc99 x06 to the cars wiring loom,
Connect pc99 ALP (patch lead) to pc99 lead,
plug in patch lead to rear of unit,
plug in alpine harness to pc99 x06
plug in aerial
switch on and use both steering remotes and wireless remote (if you have one) to ensure they work

right then point me in the direction on which wires to buy ??? iam supplying this to my ICE shop to install as they told me it be cheaper to buy the parts online and supply to them!!

hi mate> yeh the ones i'm selling will be the correct ones as i haf mine in an 02 SXi with steering controls and it was pluuged to my Alpine cva1004r stereo (very similar) :thumbs:

well yes mate - dont see any reason why now - its going into an IDENTICAL car and to the same make and very similar model HU :thumbs:
