Will i be ok to mount my amp into the sub box, just wondering will it over heat or anything stupid like that? the idea is to mount it towards the bottom of the box, with a plexiglass window showing it off ect

it isn't really advisable to mount an amp to a sub-box as vibrations could cause an internal component failure. to be fair tho a lot of people do it anyway and don't experience any problems but it's not worth the risk imo!
btw do you mean put the amp inside the box?
yeh, ive built the box, and my idea is to have the 2 subs on either side, and then say 20cm below, make another frame inside the box just wide enough for the amp, screwed to the inside of the sub box with a piece of transparent plastic over it so you can see inside (if you get me)

hmm i'm not sure i get what you mean?
can you post up a diagram or even just a quick scribble in ms paint lol just to give me an idea of what you mean??
i think i understand and if it's what i think you're saying then i don't think it's advisable!
Ofcourse not. How will the heat get out? The air pressure would just anhialate the amp.

^^^ exactly
you could build it into a separated compartment inside the box with perspex viewing windows etc and you could fit cooling fans behind it which would sort out the air pressure and heat issues but the vibrations would still be a major issue!
ahhh so this isint the best idea then! what about if i did make a seperate compartment, then is the only way to put a fan in there? what powers the van and were can i get one from guys?

still wouldn't be a good idea mate! vibrations would probably break the amp eventually!
hmmm, what about sound deadening lol? or is that stuff just a con. are the vibrations inside the box realy that bad that they could do damage then?
just done a quick search for a fan http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/blue-light-cooling-p-2852.html
is that correct, also how do you wire them up to come on with the ignition ect?
