Im hoping it is a fuse but cant seem to find the little bugger.

Swapping crazy led strip from one C to the other. They lit up and then went out.
Dial leds not working either. But yes to MFD, radio.

Pulled every fuse out (and should fuse 1 set alarm off?!) but still cant find it.

And yes i have looked at the list and in Haynes.

I had this when fitting the $hite Acepart heater LEDs.

The dial and the heater LEDs kept going out and then back on again when I was trying to squeeze them in. It seemed that if one of the LEDs was not in properly, then the 'chain' or 'circuit' was broken and the whole lot went off (heater/dials). I hadnt blown a fuse though, as abit of fiddling around made everything light up again  Gave up with the Aceparts and just bought some cheap 286 blue LEDs off eBay and they worked perfect (pretty dull though :( )

Try putting the original heater LEDs to see if everything comes back on again? Then you know whether you have blown a fuse or not...

Searched through all the fuses and nothing.

Will do as you suggest later. Cheers Joe.

Also worth knowing if u didnt already that of you change the bulbs in the headlight switch and you dont push it all the way in properly the dials wont light up. I spent ages playing with dash leds when i found this out lol

No worries dude. Use a knife to pull off that lower centre section and swap the bulbs over to make sure. They are 286 size if you need to re-order.

Just to tie this thread up.

It was as suggested. No connection in the heater controls bulb holder that stops the dials working as well.

Sorted now by bending the pins slightly.
