I have been thinking of ways to get my MP3 player, a 2 year song NWA3000, rigged up to my car stereo so i can have all my music in one place with me.

First thing, i bought a belkin Fm transmitter thinking great, Belkin a good brand, reliable; but no, the thing was absolutely awful. total crap, will be getting a refund.

I can't replace the stereo head unit as technically it's not my car, and I don't pay all the insurance. So i can't change that, what other choices do i have keeping the standard headunit? If i don't have anyother options I will be having words with my dad about it.

Thanks for any help you can give me on this in advance.
Cheers, Matt.

you can get a direct connection jobbie that plugs in directly to the aerial input at the back of the headunit. this eliminates tuning problems, interference etc, but you are still limited by FM's bandwidth. IIRC the bandwidth available to an FM radio channel works out at about 96kbps, which isnt a lot at all.

yeah, its standard CDR 2005. Unit, ill have a look at the jobbie in the FM aerial input.

What do I want to look for, for that option?

I want one of these, but think they are over priced for just an fm transmitter, when the alpine ex-10 has blootooth for your phone in it aswell and is like 70 quid cheeper or so.

Anybody got either the alpine ex10 or harmon kardon d+p2 as would like to know what the quality on them is like.
