if you were to polish and then wax it, would the wax not wipe the polish away??

ka$h

No, the polish give it the shine, th wax then protects the polish from the elements.

The best polish ive ever seen used was "3M Finesse-IT"

seen it used at a Lexus Garage whilst my dad was pickin his new car up! it was amazing stuff, the dude was using it on a few cars ready to go on sale and it was shinin em up real nice and removing scratches aswell (But its Not as Harsh as T-Cut)
he did a bit on mine to show me and it removed a few liht scratches i had and made it super shiney!

:o Only bummer is the guy said it was about £65 a bottle :o

would deffo recommend it if you got the cash to splash

Thats a proper polishing compound that body shops use. My mate buffs my C every now and then with that and a buffer (Obviously!) takes about 1/2 to do like that, looks proper though!

DO NOT use 3M FINESSE as a polish,it should ONLY be used for restoring paint to showroom condition{removal of light scratches/colour fade only].each application REMOVES 8/9 thou of your paint.too much use will see you with a bare metal shell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my info comes from the regional paint technician from vauxhall motors.
