Hi, can anyone help with a problem? My car is an 02 Corsa 17 Di. On cold starting there is a noise similar to the key left in buzzer coming from dasboard area which can last for up to 1 minute as long as you do not rev the car. When revved goes away immediately. This only happens when engine cold, doesn't do it hot.
Friend of mine is a Vauxhall mechanic and has never come accross this.
Have checked the following on his advice.
Alternator charges at 14.4 volts immediately after cold start whether left ticking over or not. Have removed dash clocks, still makes noise with them out ruling out buzzers in them.
Any advice appreciated.
