Theirs no sound coming from the driver side door speaker?


Anyoneee help??


Ps. im a newb with electrics so youd have to be descriptive :)

Connections at the speaker or at the head unit in my un-professional opinion.

nah i was parked up with a few mates and it was fine... turned engine off then pulled away put music on about 1/4 mile up the road and nothing was coming from speaker

non of ur mates fiddled with the settings of the head unit did they? probably just loose conections, is it an all standard system?

tbh i did hit a few big bumps.... when i did the music went off al together then came back on

probably a connection either at the headunit or the speaker, or you mates played around with the settings and set the balance to the left lol

nah they didnt.... must be a connection then... well i need to fit my new hu so that should sort it

well the conection is likely not to be at the headunit end cos they use ISO blocks, and these tend to be fairly strong enough, but id still look there first as its the easiest, then failing that youll have to take your doorcards off and look at the speakers on the conections

When you say drivers side speaker is it just one of the two in the door not working or both? an is the rear one working?

not sure but i do know.... my door speaker and 6x9 are both not working... both on drivers side

took it out and all the seal had ripped

my mums hu keeps cutting out she keeps saying she will get it looked at but she never does its like its skipping the disc any idease to help me ?

maybe the sensor thing on the inside is dusty perhaps? you know the disc reader thing. Or how about upgrading to mp3?
