now i havent actually had the chance to mess around opening the door panels and whatnot so i dont know what make the stock spears actually are on the corsa c.

as far as i know however, VX sstocks are actually pretty damn good speakers imho, far better than most of the **** my friends go out and buy for their cars(im talking like the 19.99 6*9's etc) and defo better than a lot of the stocks in other cars that i have been in.

can anyone else confirm this? or am i just really bad at telling what a good speaker is?

I agree that the standard speakers are good. Depends on the head unit aswell though. My Alpine made a huge difference.

i used to have a goodmans DAB thing(never did do the dab setup) and it was a bit lame, then i switched to a SeViC HU, and tbh it was the muts nuts imho.

I agree that the stock speakers are very good. Try amping them. They really take you by suprise!

I've got 35wrms doing thru my 20wrms stock skoda speakers and doubt they would handle much more tbh

i hadent thought of amping them tbh. well, one of my stereo's does have an insane amount of pre outs... i spose i should use SOME of them.

just stuck some rockford component speakers in mine :D hell yeah the clearest sound i've ever heard and the best bass lines from the rockford sub :D

ive f*cked one rear speaker completely, others on its way out, one front speaker crackling, one front speaker was buggered and one new front aftermarket one playing up:lol:

Standards are good for standards, nothing compared to a good quality aftermarket though. As stated DLS are good and there's loads more to choose from.
