Fuse For my headlights

Ok so ive had my Hids for nearly 5months

i took my car in to vx the other day (lights still working)
they changed the ABS unit (recall)

i come to collect an they said that my passenger side is not working!

(Strange)

anyway they said they cant touch them because its an after market kit!
so i get home an drop the bumper an start my investigation :P

Bulb is fine as i tryed in the other headlight

i tryed a normal bulb in the passenger side but still nothing!

SO i came to the fuses!

finally found that it was a fuse!

Replaced the fuse an turned them on worked for 2secs then low an behold the fuse blows again!

What i cant understand is why it is blowing the fuse now!

an what can i do to solve this problem!?

go back to vaux and say if you cant touch them cos theyr aftermarket explain how you "didnt" touch them and u broke them ya dicks! if you complain enough theyl get it sorted always works at my mates volvo place

Check connections Phil, also What amp fuse you use?

Mine kept blowing as i had a loose connection ;)

where did you have a loose connection?
i use a 10amp (Default)
i can upgrade to 15amp but they have never been a problem at 10amp!
DOING MY NUT IN!

im goin to try an put a normal bulb in an see if that blows the fuse!
if it doesnt it must be the ballast!

ok im in work but anyway

ive just taken my bumper down an removed the head light!

removed the ballast from where it was placed an undone all the cables blew inside them to remove any dust!

i then put a normal bulb to the connector an turned it on!

fuse stayed sound an light was on!

Put the Hids back in place an turned them on an .... they work! SO dam strange!

so im sorted
