cig lighter trouble

ok so i installed some footwell neons about 3months back and since then my cig lighter hasnt worked, neither have the neons:S
wondering if i coulda messed up and ruined a fuse or something.

fuse 26 if its the fuse, your reversing lights shouldnt work either as there run off the same fuse

loose connection? pull the cig lighter out check its secure at the back

wait, so the same fuse that runs a lighter, runs the rear lights? doesnt that seem a bit... odd?
