well ive been after a new amp for ages now (ive made threads in which no help has been given lol), and found this

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2911.html

im in need of a 4 channel amp to run my 6x9's and my sub and i think this is as close as im going to get power sufficiency wise for the money

my 6x9's r 175watt RMS rated and sub is 400watt RMS @ 4ohms, currently the 6x9's r being powered by the wiring from the cd player @ 50x4 lol so anything has got to be better..... and the sub is being powered by an IPA 600 2 channel amp @ 300 RMS

so.....shud i buy this amp and will the wiring be pretty much the same? i have sum wire to hook my 6x9's into the new amp already, just needing to know if this wud be a good amp to get and wether it wud be a simple transplant over to it...

what gauge are they?
you would probably need 4aug for this setup!

lol i keep getting told that, but i luv the sound of my setup at the minute, and getting that little bit extra from the 6x9's is gonna rock

ive enclosed my sub box aswell to limit the amount of friction between them

maybe il even keep the inphase amp and get sum front comps installed =P

quick question from an ice noob...why not?

i think it has something to do with sub amps being mono amps, and isolating diff frequencies... but thats a wild guess

8 gauge might be pushing it mate
i had my 6x9s running on 8 gauge and it was fine, but with 6x9s and a sub
i would say be on the safe side and upgrade to 4!
