facelift headunit???

I went to a car audio shop a while ago to find out a quote for having a new headunit fitted in my 2005 c and the guy said it would be expensive and would need around £100 of adaptors etc and alot of money to have it fitted.

Is he talking rubbish or is this true?

they do have a different plug to the pre 2005's , had mine done today , lead cost 25 quid cos it needs a second live to hold the memory , then 8 quid for the facia , and 30 odd quid for fitting , so not too bad :D
