Hey, I'm new to this site having just bought a black '05 1.2 SXi.
Anyway in my other car I was running a VIBE CBR10 active sub off a Sony H/U, with crappy 6"x9"s in the back and 15cm VIBE Coax's in the front. I thought the sound produced was quite good for a cheap system!
For my Corsa I'm thinking about keeping the standard H/U (don't want to worry about attracting theives) and running the same active sub off it with some decent 17cm components up front. Now i've read that to wire in the active sub I would have to loose the rear speakers so would the front components have enough sound to cover the car? Any ideas on how to make it better?
If I could have a decent system whilst still keeping the standard H/U it would be ideal, however, if you guys recommend me putting a better aftermarket H/U in then I might consider - just after ideas!
