Anyone know how i can get in touch with the guy selling these: http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=124983&highlight=total+closure
Ive emailed them through the website but heard nothing yet.
Cheers.
Yeah i wanna get one of these too but they don't look to be available on their site which is gay. Checked ebay and a few others look really clumpy what with the wire blocks plus they are more expensive.
This such a handy tool as i forget to do my windows up sometime and i have a habit of keeping my key in the door to make sure everything is done up now. :D

Join AOC and PM him, he doesn't give the website much active use to my knowledge, i made an order on the web and had to pm him on AOC 2 weeks later to remind him about it.

You know that if you dead lock the car and then press and hold the lock button again it shuts the windows dont you? Its not quite as convenient as the total closure unit but it does the job.

NO, only certain models did this and even then there is no set rule as to which did and didnt (i dont think)

You sure? I know I'm sounding rather insulting (and i don't mean to be) but, really? £15 posted, a total closure kit that shuts all electric windows?

yes press key fob twice and hold and the windows and sunroof if electric will close
Wikid mate. So it is £15 posted and is it easy enough to fit this one? Is it similar to the one that was refered to originally in this thread?

All they do in reality is connect to the window shut wire, deadlock wire and earth. They are timed to allow power through them for x amount of seconds which is enough to shut the windows. Really simple and useful devices and i fitted mine using 2 scothlocks and a spanner to put the earth on with.
Awesome pieces of kit.
couldn't agree more. A spanner you say?! Why not part of the chassis out of interest?

Depends if the module is fitted with the alarm though doesn't it??
I guess it's the concept 650 isn't it??
I cant remember if they had a total closure output but i do know that you can get "smart windows" as an add on.
The seller is fitting total closure for everyone in the group buy free of charge for us :doublethumbs:
so where can i get one of thease for £15
do the astra ones work in the same way then?
So what bits and pieces would you need to make a TC kit at home?
FYI everyone, after much pratting about and suding of wiring diagrams, there is an issue with the after market total closure boxes on the corsa. Its not major but worth knowing - its due to the way the corsa BCM works.
Basically the Corsa BCM sends a signal down the deadlock circuit (which these work off) after the car is started, this causes a number of things:
1) The window switches are inoperable for around 5-10 secs
2) If your windows are down they will go up after the car is started
The workaround for this is to hold down the window switch(es) after the car has been started - this then overrides this signal.
It was a little irritating at first but now i'm used to it i don't even think about it.
also worth noting that if the windows are closed it will still try to put them up (you hear the sound of the electric window motor, as if you had pressed up when they were already up) I am concerned that this is putting extra wear and tear on the windows, but don't know if it will cause any issues.
i will also add this info to my original tutorial
