Alright, I was just digging around and found JBL subwoofer 1000 watts

I also found a amp but it looks baby! im bit tight on cash and missed out ona amp 3000watt for 70quid =\!

anyway this amp I got is Fury 50 wattsx2 100w max @ 0.05% THD

So what this amp good for? front speakers?!

btw i got 500 watt x 2 6x9's in back of car

ok um, what amplifier would be needed for a JBL 1000w sub

Well the RMS of the GT4 thats assuming it will be is 250w so you would really need to get a 500w max amp that has an RMS rating of 250w

Although you will probably get better results pumping a true 500w rms into it

need more details but basically MAX output means nothing, rms output is what is important and the subs should ideally be less than the amp (sounds backwards) to stop sub damage due to clipped signal
