New Interior Light...Still On?..

Well I brought this, and installed it today:

Not that bright for me as its suppose to be Xenon White, but its good enough. However I left the car tonight, to find out the light stays on even after everything is on, although the light is dull, you can still tell its on.

Is this normal? Also are there any better bulbs like this out there? As I wanted one a bit more brighter lol...

oh get one of these offer him £3.20, wire the map reading lights into the existing wiring and its ultra bright then! also if you have an led main bulb and you have the map light swithed on it doesn't glow
