Are they needed? Rear Speakers?

at the mo i got 6by9`s but there coming out as i taking the parcel shelf out for my new system set up....
goin to be amping front speakers..... is it worth ampin or even puttin rear 1s in??
what have ppl got on here?

there really isnt any need. you will be fine with decent amplified front components.

i disconnected mine and put 6x9's on the shelf instead, so much better

I can hear my standard rear speakers dying from distortion when i turn up the volume (kappa's in the front), thinking weather 6x9's will be audiable frm the front?

Dont buy 6x9's, put the money towards an amplifier for the kappas.

If you have a sub they'll have hardly any effect.
If you don't have a sub, buy one, the effect will be 10 times better than 6by9's.
