better polish than SRP

can anyone reccomend me a polish thats better than SRP for about the same price, one that masks the swirls as good as srp etc, as i am nearly out of srp.

Dude, from what i can gather, there is no better!

SRP masks the swirls brilliantly on my car and from non halfords type places you can get it REALLY cheap.

A place in aldridge had 1 litre bottles (the big ones) for £9.99 8)

EDIT: Halfords website says £11.99 but lets face it, anyone can sell it cheap off a website, from their stores i'm sure the 1 litre bottles are at least £20.00!

srp and the some ultra deep shine over the top and it lasts months too

anything better ?? only pure Carnauba bee's wax the zymol stuff

edit. srp. The 2 and 5 litre trade packs come out at a resonable price iirc

Autogylm Ultra Deep Shine will be the best alternative if you're working by hand.

if you read the bottle it suggest you use the ultra deep shine after the srp and if you have iffy paint work ag paint restorer before anything

UDS is a polish made for darker colours so using SRP before it is a waste imo, might aswell apply 2 layers of UDS. AG paint renovator is useless stuff, takes ages to remove scratches with it.

are we talking about AG srp? AG products are only midrange products there are quite a few other products the are so much better.

most cost a bit more though, Smartwax Glaze is far better

we are indeed, or atleast I was :lol:. Haven't had any experience with the smartwax range so can't comment.

If your wanting a really good product stick to products the do only 1 thing.

polish for polish
glaze for filling

etc etc

its when you get 1 product that does it all where things start to get a bit crappy.

My cars silver so can't really tell. Used it on my mates grey fiesta aswell but it was new at the time so couldn't tell either.

Autoglym Ultra deep shine followed by a good coat of Autoglym High Definition Wax does the trick for me:)
