Help about Foam Lance's

Basically I'm looking at getting a new car and at the same time wanna get a good foam lance to complete my cleaning kit. I've got a pressure washer already but its quite old so recommend a good one i.e. kercher aswell if u want.

What do i actually need all together? obviously the foam lance but what else like the actuall soap sudds etc.

I have a cheapy karcher pressure washer and the karcher foam lance from cleanyourcar.co.uk. Ive tried different mixtures in it but so far i find just an inch of super snow foam topped up with warm water is best. Ive got a pic somewhere, ill dig it out.

been on about 30 seconds there so its already dripping off. Could get it thicker too but theres no need. Think thats on just under half way on the mixer tap thing.
