Factory alarm

I have a 53 plate corsa sri with factory fitted alarm, after having my car vandalised and the alarm not being activated i wondered if it's possible to fit shock sensors or proximity sensors as an addition to the standard alarm.

Has any one done this on there cars before?

any help will be great.:)
