Hiya just put in a jbl 75.2 amp and gt4 12" sub wid a pioneer head unit (sounding fantastic i must say ) bt wen i put headlights on and the deck is cranked on full headlights start flashing , nw iv gt a 1 farad power cap bt been told its no use can any1 help wid dis problem plz thnks

yeah, **** the powercap off, like throw it at someone you don't like
go through your wiring and make sure they are all correctly termionated and have as clean connection as possible, pay attention to your earths!

mate its your sub taking all the juice out of your battery. the battery cant take it so all your electrics flash slightly. my lights do it too and the dials, i jus dont have it on full all the time. that does the trick.

Next step is to do the big 3 (do a search on here) tbh i can really see a 75.2 pulling that much current to make your lights dim/flicker (setup a 75.4 for a mate with no problems on 8 awg cable)

i would go and get your battery and alternator tested most car shops will bo it foc anyway

i have a GTO2060 (similar power demands to a 75.2) and i dont have any tral problems with lights. they do dim a little on the larger amplitude LF notes, but that about it.
