Hi, my car has been off the road for 6months now, i have got a new battery in the car and have noticed that no power is getting to the standard cd player whereas usualy it would ask for the "code" after a battery change. i thought it may have been a fuse but i have no idea which number fuse to check!

would be grateful if someone could help me....

it doesnt mention anything about the cd player or radio, i thought it might be centre control unit and when i took it out my headlights turned on haha

i just asked a friend and its number 12 and its a yellow 20volt. theres a diagram of where the fuses are located on the other side of the fuse lid. all you have to do is change this and it should work.

a garage will give you the fuse for nothng if you ask them or they cost like 25p from halfords

when you take the fuse out you can see if the fuse has gone cause the metal thing inside will have broken

I had a problem where cd player wouldnt turn on but it still accepted cd's it ended up being a fuse. Check every fuse. and obviously make sure in plugged in correctly not come lose or anything like that. I think i twas a brown 5 .
