Putting my car back to standard, where can i get it from without paying an arm and a leg
its on a card you get with the car, if you have a document wallet it will prob be in there

Where abouts are you? I know there are plenty of places in Birmingham that will do it for a tenner. Audio "repair" shops lol.
If you're going to Vx you will need to present the V5 to prove its your car and you haven't nicked the stereo etc. I'm sure they'll check the serial number of the unit too to make sure its all above board.

i'm in Hertfordshire mate, rung up vx and they said they said that they didnt do it and referred me to an repair shop asking for £35 :/
What a bunch of sc*mbags. Its a standard repair procedure. I bet they have to re-order codes all the time for cars with flat batteries/disconnected batteries etc. where the owner has misplaced the code card.

Yeah bit of a joke innit, i may aswell sell the stereo and buy a new one, saves me £35 + what i get for the old stereo
im selling the car so just want it to all look nice :(
It can look nice but not be fully functional. Use the stereo just to fill the slot lol. Private sale or trading it in?
