hole in my sub

I have just bouht a fli 12" sub of my mate for £15 quid.. onli thing is its got a hole in the speaker its about 3mm thick, but will it sound ok?

And if i sell it wats it worth? nice1.....

actually i've seen people pierce holes in subs to put wire into to pull out dents in cones and they've sounded ok.

however a Fli sub will sound crap even if it's brand new in the box lol Fli stuff is sh1te!

i had a hole in my for about a year and it was fine, i had to chuck it when the amp kinda melted so just replaced the lot, the hole was more like a big slit though but u could stick ur finger through

It will seriously affect the sound of the sub. Easy fix - duc tape. Hard fix - bonding agent.
