HDR Pictures

How do you do HDR pictures? I keep seeing these images around the forum but am unsure on how to create them. I've been using my DSLR a lot more recently and am getting better with it but want to expand my skills.

Theres a magazine out at the moment and gives a decent look into HDR for beginners.

Pretty much. You take a picture of the same still subject more than once, with different lighting and settings, then merge them together and play with exposures.

Can also do it from one image, but it's never as good.
