its double din.

they are all double din.

But you get a facia adapter for which ryan on here has 2 of i believe and you fit a single din stereo HU, may ir ecommend an Alpine model as they are second to none for the money :)

your car might be 1 of the 54 plates made in 2005 just before the 05 plates came out.

itll be the crappy double din 1 you have. i got an alpine hu and it does the job just now although im going to buy a dvd player for it eventually

54 plates were late 2004 and early 2005 so wouldnt worry about that

Yep they are double din, you can get a single din h/u and facia which fills up the left over gap. Or a double din h/u if your feeling adventurous

You have a double din mate, you need a fascia from halfords which is £15, but i have 2 for sale and will post it to you for a tenner.

They're very easy to fit :)

I was gonna say i think what you are on about is the actual head unit not the fascia plate. Basically what you are going to need to get it a new head unit (choose one that is bluetooth equipped or ready, there is a difference, bluetooth ready means that the headunit will support bluetooth however an optional extra interface box will be required), a fascia plate, i got mine of ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370044514714&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=024), and some keys to remove your current double DIN headunit (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370044514714&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=024) as to what i have been reading on here if you pop down to Halfords and ask them nicely they will lend you some or give you a hand as its only a 1 min job.

So first thing is first remove the original double DIN headunit, get some Aleen keys and undo the four little screw type things (don't know what to call then), two on either side of the unit. Then get the keys that you have either got from Halfords or eBay and slide them in until you head a click, then the head unit will pop right out. Disconnect any wiring that is at the back, should be an antenna lead, and ISO block connector. Place you new fascia plate in, wire up your new head unit, pop it in and you away.

Hope this helps
Scott
